Overview
The onlineAGORA is the home of getCITED's collection of DGroups
(short for "discussion groups"). DGroups are meant to be
an alternative or complement to the many discussion lists we all subscribe to as members of the
academic community. At their core, DGroups are what is commonly known as "threaded discussion
lists". When deployed within the context of getCITED, some of the benefits are:
You receive all your postings in one place and thereby reduce the inflow of email into your inbox.
You can search for and subscribe to a wide variety of lists using powerful search tools to find
the lists that interest you most.
You can insert hyperlinks to researchers and publications contained within the getCITED database.
DGroup's can be moderated or umoderated, and anyone can start one. So if you can't find a DGroup
that interests you, all you need do is
